2026 Educator & Practitioner Conference February 7, 2026 at Floridia International University, Miami, FL.
Along with Greg Durrell, I would like to invite you to “Bridging the Gap Between Practice and Academia: Integrating the Current State and Future of Architecture”
The Conference will take place at Floridia International University on Saturday February 7, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. A welcome reception will take place at the Courtyard by Marriott at Dolphin Mall in Miami on February 6, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The Conference will bring Region 3’s educators together with regulators, practitioners, licensing advisors, students and others. It provides a much-needed opportunity for those who play key roles in architectural education, licensure process and practice to connect.
During the Conference, subject matter experts including creators of the RAND Report “Building Impact: Perspectives and Recommendations on the Current State and Future of Architecture” will provide informative presentations as well as discussion time for attendees and presenters to share best practices. We will consider the roles of board members, educators, students and practitioners during the conference.

2026 Regional Summit – Oklahoma City, OK – March 20-21, 2026
The Regional Summit will begin on Friday, March 20, 2026, and will focus on building relationships within your region and between regions, highlight key areas of significance for your board, and collaborating on the future of architectural regulation. Optional Regional dinners have been scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 2026. Register using this link.
The Region 3 Dinner will be held at Vast at 333 West Sheridan Ave. in Oklahoma City. A short walk from the hotel. Dinner is $80 per person. Dinner payment link.
